The steel drum requires mallets to make the notes play. These mallets are perfect for double tenor or double second pans.

Mallets for handpan are optional. Traditionally, handpans are played with the hands only. But for some customers mallets help them to produce a sound more quickly and more effectively for certain performance or recording circumstances.
