There's nothing quite like the sound of a steel drum — and this summer, you can learn to play one for free. Dave's Island Instruments is excited to invite you to our Summer Steel Band Class, a weekly group session designed for adults and open to all ages who want to experience the joy of live music firsthand.
Whether you've never touched an instrument in your life or you're just looking for something fun to do on a Thursday evening, this class is for you.

What to Expect
Each week, you'll gather with a welcoming group of fellow music lovers for a hands-on, guided class led by experienced instructors. You'll learn basic steel drum techniques, play along with the group, and leave every session with a little more rhythm in your step. No prior musical experience is required — just show up ready to have a good time.
Instruments are provided at no charge, so all you need to bring is yourself (and maybe a friend).
