The Luna Satin has a warm resonant tone and is personally tuned by David Beery to A-440 with state of the art electronic stobo-tubing devices. It is tuned to our very popular 8 note Sunset scale (Also called D minor or Celtic Minor). The Luna Satin is a very comfortable size and weight. Not too heavy or bulky. It can even be carried on a plane in most overhead baggage compartments (on most large national or international flights).
The Satin finish resists water, salt water, perspiration, and mild acids. It is easy to clean with a cotton hand towel and fresh water or glass cleaner. If you live in a humid, wet, or ocean environment, the Satin finish will give you peace of mind.
The Luna Satin is made with 20” diameter deep drawn pressed low carbon steel shells. It is about 10” tall. The color of the instrument is created by placing the steel into a kiln and may vary slightly, but generally it has a dark grey color with some shimmering highlights of emerald, gold, and sapphire.
